We had such a great time on the island. Thank you
for a great visit. We miss you both and can't wait
to see you soon. Love ya.

Silas, Crystal, Barb & Doug go to Texas

Silas watching Grandpa feed the Seagulls old bread.
Silas playing at the park. We didn't find it till
our last full day, but he had fun anyways.

Silas enjoying the beach and ocean.

Diggin in the sand.

Hold it steady... The undercurrent
was really strong that day, so we were
really careful with him in the water.

An afternoon at the O'Dell's

Silas and Lainey go on a tractor ride with Grandpa.
Lainey was a little unsure, but Silas was all for it.
Silas and Grandpa sitting on the picnic table.

Playing outside with the ball.

What cuties......Say Cheese. The two seem to get along pretty
good, even though they don't see each other
that often. We are looking forward to our
trip to Lainey's house in June.

Playdoo with daddy

Brian and Silas were playing with the playdoo
from his Easter basket from Grandma & Grandpa O'Dell.
Silas likes the sissors best....we will have to keep
a close eye on him later. He also liked messing up daddy's
works of art.

Playing inside with family

Silas and Aaron really took to each other.
Brandon and Melissa brought their new dog, Shelby,
over after dinner. They also gave us good news. There is
another baby on the way. They are due in November.
Congrats.

Easter 2009 at the Grayson's

Bonnie Kay & Dan had the whole family over for
dinner and Easter egg hunt. The boys hid the eggs and
the kids had a great time hunting for plastic eggs
filled with "puffs". We are looking forward to spending
more time with everyone in June at the beach.

Visiting with family at Mary's

Crystal, Silas and Uncle Johnny Page
Crystal, Silas and Aunt Manon Page

Mary, Mom, Silas and Manon.
The Page's are family friends of Vivian and Clare's.
They are no relation, but they have always been Aunt and Uncle
Mom and Mary are best friends. Mary was on spring break
just like Chauntea, so we came to visit. The Page's are in there
90's and starting to forget, but in pretty good health. I didn't want
to miss the chance to see them and for them to meet Silas.

Park with Grayson

Chauntea found this park on the otherside
of the river from Yorktown. This was Silas's
first experience with sand. He was a little
unsure at first, but soon started digging his hands
and feet into it. The view was so nice. I wish we had
this in Missouri. To bad we are so far away.

We went to the Virginia Living Zoo

It was a little chilly to go outside and see the animals,
but we had fun inside. The kids liked this giant
turtle shell. They could climb in and on top of.
There was also a huge tree trunk that they could
climb in. We had a great time.

Silas and Grayson at the Park

Silas and Grayson at the park. Chauntea and Grayson
go to the park alot. The kids got along great. We can't wait
to see them in June at the Beach.

in the new sitting room at Bonnie Kay's.

Chauntea decorated a Birthday cake for Silas.
Didn't she do a great job???

Silas sitting on rocks at Yorktown. Mom and I
got to Gloucester late Thurday night. Chauntea worked
on Friday so me and mom did some site seeing around
the area. Then mom left Friday evening to go to Mary's
in Midlothian. Me and Silas stayed with Chauntea and David.

He is now a Big Boy

This was one of Silas's birthday presents from Grandma &
Grandpa Ross. I now have a hard time getting him
into his high chair. He thinks he is big enough to sit
here for all his meals. Some battle's you don't fight.

Two cakes for a Two year old

I made a chocolate cake for his birthday. When papa and grandma
arrived, grandma had made one for Silas as well. Grandma is so talented.
She made a Weim. It was a good Suprise. Silas is not much of a
sweets child, but the rest of the family enjoyed both.
THANK YOU EVELYN FOR A BEAUTIFUL CAKE. WE LOVE YOU.
