Silas at the Park

Last week while we were in Independence visiting Grandma "B"

we took some time to visit the Santa Fe Trail Park, just

down the street from the house. Silas had a great time. The

weather was perfect. The playground is next to the tennis courts

and one of the local schools was practicing and there was a little

girl, maybe 4 or 5, playing as well. Silas and her starting following

each other and mocking what the other one was doing. It is so

good to see him interact with other kids and talk. Praises to the Lord.

Aiden

Here are a few recent photos of Aiden. He is 6 months already.

He is 17 lbs & 27 inches long and growing. He has just found

his tongue and just starts laughing for no reason. It is so cute.

He watches Silas and follows him around the room. He rolls over

in a second. I think it won't be too long before he gets the

mobility going. Can't wait.

Farming days..

Papa and Nana called on a Saturday morning asking if

Silas would like to help plant a garden at the farm... Of Course!!!

He went out to Grandma Donna's farm.

He helped nana put the seeds in the ground

and helped papa cover the seeds.

It is hard to believe how fast mowing season comes around.

Brian was in the garage sharpening the mowing blades and Silas

wanted to watch. So daddy told him the only way he could watch was

to wear protective gear. He was so excited to wear cool stuff. I know

before long he will be big enough to help. Where does the time go!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

The kids had so much fun. Us moms stayed up the night before

filling the kids baskets. The kids couldn't wait to go outside.

What a joy and blessing it was to spend time with Brian's family.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Last year for Easter Silas and I was in Virginia with the Shield

and Grayson family. We didn't color eggs, so this was a new

thing for Silas. He did great & had so much fun as well. I do

believe we have started a new tradition. Yeh!!

Nikki can throw one fun birthday party. The kids had

a blast. They played games & watched Lainey open her

gifts. Lainey was so sweet & kind to share her new gifts.

Silas seemed to really like this cash register....Note to self,

find one for him...maybe in blue???
