Halloween 2012

 Silas couldn't wait to get into the middle of

these pumpkins. Aiden didn't want to be anywhere

near them.  He picked a handful of books and

sat on the couch looking at books while

Silas and daddy carved pumpkins.

Eli's First Haircut

Mike Shepard has been cutting Brian's hair for

years now and we have carried that on with the

boys.  Mike has given all the boy's their first

haircut.  He is so gentle with them and safe.

Thank you Mike for being a part of our lives.

Brothers....

It has been so sweet to see Aiden step into

the Big Brother role while Silas is at school.

He loves for Eli to sit on his lap or play with

him.  Their smiles are infectious.  Love these boys!!!

Student of the Month 2012

Silas was chosen as Student of the Month for

the month of September from his class.

This mamma and daddy couldn't be more

proud.  Way to go Silas!!

Parks and Rec..Soccer 2012

We signed Silas up for the Fall Soccer program

thru the Parks and Rec.  He did ok.  I don't 

think he still completely understands how the 

game is played.  It was nice to see him and Brian

practice together.  His team the "Wildcats"

did fair.  At this age they don't keep score.

It was his first experience on a team and overall

I think it was a great learning experience.

For Brian's birthday we headed to the Royal's game.

It was so nice to spend some grown up time with

my man.  I Love You and Happy Birthday. 

My new hobby.... CAKES!!!!

Cakes, Cakes and more Cakes...

For Silas' 2nd birthday I thought it would be

fun to make his cake... 4 years later I am having 

so much fun.  I have been taking classes in Blue Springs

from the Cake Pan.  I have been learning so much.

I now have made every cake for my boys and 

have made a few for friends.  I have just started

learning to work with fondant and gum paste.  Still have 

a lot to learn but having fun in the process.
