Silas' Valentine Party

Alexis, Silas & Gracie. These are two
of Silas' "Girl" friends. He comes home
and talks about them almost everyday.

Mrs. Pickett had some fun games for the
class to play. They hid the heart and tried to
guess which classmate had it. They tossed
bean bags onto the heart. Also, they played
musical hearts. It was a fun day.

For their snack, they had ice cream. They could
put M&M's, peanuts, chocolate kisses or licorice
on the ice cream. Also, available was Cool Whip
and Chocolate sauce. YUM!!!

Snowy lake trip 2011

This is Brian after shoveling the driveway.
I think its a little cold!!!
An icicle off the house.

We made our way down to the dock. The roads
were not plowed and as we started down the ramp
to the dock, the snow was over Silas' boots, so daddy
came to the rescue and carried him the whole way.
Being down by the lake was so peaceful and beautiful.
Mom and dad's dock covered in snow.

A few weeks ago we traveled to my parents lake
house for my grandfather's memorial service. We
soon found out they received a whole lot more snow
then we did up home. When we arrived, I stepped out
of the Yukon only to find snow up to my knees. Not much fun
Brian made enough of a path to unload the dogs & kids. The
next morning we both tackled getting the Yukon unstuck and
the driveway cleared and part of the street cleared.
I praise my husband for all his hard work. I love you!

Please...No More Snow....

It seems like this year we have had so much
snow. I think everyone is tired of it. I know
Brian and I are tired of shoveling snow. We have
taken turns of this most sought out job. However,
it does look so beautiful first thing in the morning.

Christmas with Granny 2011

We had planned on driving down to Granny & David's
the Sunday after Christmas, but Silas woke up Christmas
morning with a fever & sick, so this celebration was put
off for a few weeks. It was a nice visit. We were able to
see David while he was still able to communicate. We love
you Granny and will always remember you, David.
