Silver Dollar City

We spent 2 days at Silver Dollar City. The first day, we
arrived after 3pm so the next day was free. Everyone
had a great time. It had been years since Brian and I
had been at Silver Dollar City and while most of it was
the same, there was a few new additions. Brian enjoyed
all the new rides and we soon found out the Silas
has no fear. He enjoyed the roller coasters.
Our attempt at a family picture, but Silas was not a happy camper.
Brian, Aiden and I really didn't want to get
wet, so Les and Debra took Silas on the
Lost River water ride. Even though it was
steaming hot, the lines for most of the rides
were minimal. As you can see in the photo
below...Silas looks like a drowned rat...

This is the Giant Swing. Its just like a normal
swing, except it has some power behind it and
goes way to high for me.

The boys both enjoyed the carousel in the new
Half Dollar Holler. Its a new area just for
kids under 7. It is were they also rode
the Lil' Swings and played in the Treetop Fun
houses and climbing nets.

On the second day, we found an area called The Grand
Exposition for kids to ride more age
appropriate roller coasters and other rides.
Daddy and Silas enjoyed the
new rides. Mommy enjoyed watching!!!
