SILAS FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!
Last year Silas was in the Firststeps program,
since he was not talking at the level he should have
been for being 2. During this program we had quarterly
meeting with the school district, since the Firststep program
ends when you turn 3. During the final testing with Firststeps it
showed he still had a very slight delay, so the Early Childhood
Center thru the school district said since the testing he took for
Firststeps is more advance then the test they give and he still
had a very slight delay in speech he was accepted into
the Early Childhood Center's school. He is only 3 1/2 and goes
to school 4 days a week. M, T, Th & F 830-1130am. He is in
a class with 4 boys and 4 girls. He has 2 teachers and so far is loving it.
So far his favorite thing is playing outside and snacks. He does seem
to be asking more questions and talking all the time. I couldn't
be happier. He does ask every morning, WHY school today???
