Well..... We have lived in this house for about 10 years and
really haven't done anything to the outside and you can tell.
So, over the last month we have been taken off the old
masonite siding and we are replacing it with
HardiePanel. It has concrete in it and is mold resistant.
When tearing off the old stuff we found out why our house is
so cold in the winter... There was no house wrap or insulation other
then what was behind the dry wall, so we have put up new insulation
and house wrap before putting up the new siding. We can already
notice that it is quieter in the house. We will have to see how
the winter goes. We have got the house done, with the exception of one
little chunk on the south side. We still have to do the garage, but the main
house is done. NOW to pick a color to paint. Why is it so hard!!!
